Saturday's game between the Indiana Pacers and host Toronto Raptors was suspended in the second quarter due to a Scotiabank Arena speaker catching fire. Fire marshals evacuated the arena with 4:05 remaining before halftime and Toronto leading 66-38. The small electrical fire was initially spotted during the first quarter but the game continued before Toronto Fire Services called for the evacuation. After a 65-minute delay, the game resumed without fans in the seats. Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, which owns the Raptors and the building, said in a statement late Saturday that refunds will be available to those who originally purchased tickets for the game. "The necessary venue repairs will be executed in time to allow the Toronto Maple Leafs game to proceed as scheduled on Sunday at 7 p.m. against the Florida Panthers," MLSE's statement said.   A group of scientists at the  University of Minnesota have  developed a male contraceptive pill for men. The pill is a non-hormonal pill that was successful in keeping lab mice sterile for six weeks. No side effects were reported. When the mice stopped taking the pill, they were able to reproduce again. Human trials are set to begin this year but no date is confirmed as of yet.     Other attempts were for developing a male contraceptive pill have been unsuccessful. One medicine, Dimethandrolone undecanoate (DMAU), caused significant side effects in human trial participants, including acne, headaches,  and tiredness. Side effects of DMAU include mild weight gain and mild decreases in levels of HDL (“good”) cholesterol. Low estrogen levels were reported and associated symptoms such as reduced sexual function and decreased bone mineral density.
